Notre Dame High School sits proudly on the heights of West Haven, offering a wide view of the city beneath and the scenic panorama which surrounds it. This physical setting is most appropriate for a school whose function is Catholic education, the opening of new vistas of knowledge through the media of faith and reason. Notre Dame, in its thirteenth year of existence, has ever striven to keep this standard of education. The rea- son for its success lies in its faculty, the Brothers of the Congregation of Holy Cross, who combine over a century of teaching experience with the freshness and vitality of youthful interests. Through these four years of Notre Dame they have given us of their wisdom and affection in forming us intellectually, in giving us spiritual strength and inspiration.
