The returning veter- ans, Charlie Messina, Larry Cima and John Kemp, added the backbone to a young junior squad. Although the season was not a winning one, Don An- drews, a former Attica Devil, placed ATHLETIC MANAGERS-Tom Bukiewicz, joe Eichenger, Dan Bermingham, Tom Friday, Anne Welsh, publicityg Paul Weiss, business. l 31 in the top ten scorers in the leagues He was also Clted for the best individ- ual performance in the game with St. Mary's Deaf School in which he meshed 28 points to lead the team to victory. The JV team, under the joint coach- ing of Father Scheider and Mr. Pete Corbelli shows much promise. With freshmen comprising the bulwark of the team, each game played added much valued experience to this young team, The JV season began with a win- ning streak in which they outscored ,both Attica and St. Mary's but bowed to Mindszenty. In imitation of their big brother team, the Little Irish also tripped St. Mary's Deaf School twice and defeated the squad from Neumann once.
