jim Martin is surrounded by loyal party mem- bers Sue Gongol, Josie joy, Anna La RUSSH, Sharon Colangelo, and Mary Tosto as he gives a campaign speech preceding the Student Coun- cil election. endow ln their last year of high school, seniors notice and remember things they had not been conscious of before. The reason for this special awareness is, of course, the fact that all these things are swiftly draw- ing to a close. All of a sudden seniors are aware of how much they enjoy joking in the locker roomg of the satisfaction they have after studying, hard, for a Regents examination, and passingg they even look forward to the daily bus ride. Most of all seniors remember the last few weeks of high school: the May procession, because the May queen is chosen from their classg the Senior Ball, a huge success after months of planningg and, finally, actually wearing the caps and gowns they were measured for, weeks before. Yes, seniors have many memories. The senior boys' Christmas project was erecting the crib in front of Notre Dame. 'H . I 16
