I ME ORIAM IN HIS UNASSUMING WAY HE quiet people are often the ones who are the hardest to forget. That's why we'll always remember Gerald Rogowski. To those who knew him he was Jerry, a soft-spoken gentle friend. In his unassuming way, he was an honor stu- dent, winning a scholarship to Notre Dame from Sacred Heart School and receiving four honor cards in his fresh- man year. The short time he belonged to Boy Scout Troup 10, Jerry achieved the rank of Star Scout. His head never grew an inch. Jerry never lived to become famous, but everyone misses him. He was the first of our students to die, but his warmth of spirit will always live with us. Requiescat in pace, Gerald, you earned it. Ora pro nobis, we need your help. 4
