Wright pumped in 44 points to break his own record of 43 he set as a sophomore against St. Mary's, of Southbridge. The Teddy Bear sensation hooped 18 baskets and hit on eight of 13 attempts at the foul line. Wright, who sat out part having their best scoring quarter, hooping 36 points. Notre Dame scored 28 points in the stanza. Another big factor in the Teddy Bears victory last night, was the play-making of Lesniewski. The smallest man on- the starting five set up the winners offensive attack and chipped in 13 points during the game. Dion also played a fine de- fensive game helping his mates off League champions. A loss would leave the teams tied and a possible chance of the teams finishing that way to force a playoff game to de- termine the loop champion. In the prelim game last night be- tween the two JV squads the St. 'Mary team came out on top by a 57-45 score. In their first meeting earlier in the season, St. Mary's romped over the Teddy Bear second unit by a lop-sided score of 56-12. of the fourth period got 30 of his points in the second half. The winners actually wrapped up their ninth win of the season against two defeats in the second period, as they poured 30 points through the nets, while holding the losers to 15 points.
