unior Cfadd .Hia tory Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong! That old familiar ring beckoned us once more to our dear Alma Mater, however, this time as juniors Our teachers, Sister Marie de la Beparation, Sister Ieanne de Florence, Sister Eustelle de L'Eucharistie, Sister Marie de Lourdes, and Sister jean du Cenacle seemed to be gifted with an endless amount of patience and kindness for which we were very grateful. Elections were soon under way, and we introduced: Paul Proulx as president, Paul Forcier, vice-president, Barbara L'Heureux, secretary, and Jeannine Cloutier, treasurer. A very special thanks to our wonderful decoration committee, comprised of Donald Coutu, Pauline Picard, and Jeanne Freniere, who never failed to dress our class each holi- day' season in the gayestiof apparel. We also say thanks to our hardworking social com- mittee which includes, Bichard Patenaude, chairman, Loraine Roy, Ieanne Boudreau, Lauria Saulnier, his diligent assistants for making our weekly Saturday night dances some- thing to look forward to. We are certainly proud of Sylvia Gregoire who represented us in the fifth annual Bishop Wright Declamation Contest. She surely was a credit to Notre Dame High School. It's up and in I ! l Another basketball season is once more in progress. On the Varsity squad you're sure to see Paul Proulx, Alfred Hevey, and Paul Forcier helping to boost the score. V Cooperation is absolutely essential in the getting together a successful partyg and with this in mind, Notre Dame H. S. in cooperation with Cole Trade and St. lVlary's High School gave the Senior Class of 54 a Prom ever to be remembered as one of the most pleasant events of their school days at Notre Dame High. Alas! Everything must come to an end, and as it is with our scholastic year. By the grace of Cod and the even present help of our curates and teachers, this has been a year which we will always remember and which has prepared us for our future responsibilities as Seniors. 30 BARBARA L'HEunEux
