DAD'S AND MOM'S As any school authority can tell you, without spirit a school is in trouble. This is the reason that the students are encouraged to join extracurricular clubs and activities. lt is felt that if the student can talk about his school in terms other than his scholastic ratings, he will come to feel that the school is more of a good friend and less of an omnipotent judge. Of course, these extracurricular groups take time to form, effort to keep running and plain old cash to support. The student can devote his time and en- thusiasm. Often, someone else has to give financial aid and moral support. To a great degree, this task has fallen upon the shoulders of the Dad's and Mothers Clubs. These two groups, working hard all year long, strive to make us more aware, to bring us closer to our school. Their only request is that their sons, and the boys who will follow them, will have a better schooling because of their efforts. ln this they hope to succeed. We feel that they have. To give you the idea that these Clubs are all Work and no play, however, would be erronous. Morale isn't built solely of grim determination and dedica- tion. lt is a gradual process that requires a heavy spicing of laughter. The Dads and Moms make sure of that.
