Sunday September 19th, saw the Sharnrocks of Catholic Cen- tral invade Notre Dame for their tirst Catholic League game in 20 years. With Don Chiodo's 97 yards rushing and strong de- fensive play throughout the game, the Irish battled from behind twice to gain an upset victory 19-13 over a highly touted C. C. squad. Chiodo plunged for a touchdown and extra point to knot the score at the end of the third quarter, after Steve Trupiano had sprinted 8 yards for an earlier tie-maker.
