On April 9th and lUth, the Concert Band held it's annual Spring Concert. As M. C. Mark Gariepy said, ln keep- ing with our fine tradition, Notre Dame has a speical treat in store. The special treat came in the form of a grade school band composed of boys who would one day wear the Irish green and white. This group, the Notre Dame Lepre- chauns' came close to matching the older bandsmen. The finale however, was the real treat of the evening. The combined bands played the, Fontain- bleu Overture and everyone went home with the feeling of an evening well spent. Al 'l L - ,f '-L..T..' , Senior Ted Cottrell narrating the twisted heart-sickening story of Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Bears. O O I Q ......a lot of results ll-if Throughout the land they call our band, 'the finest of them a11'. Down Woodward Avenue and into the heart of downtown, the Notre Dame band steps high and plays loud. St. Patricks Parade was just one of the many parades in which our bands was asked to play. 97
