young medieval! .44-4-e Hurry hurry hurry' The Sprung Festxval attracted many en thuslastlc people Rldes for the young at heart fpnctured abovet and games of skull and chance for all were featured at the three day frollc A greenhouse booth a llnen and glft shop a country store a prep shop booth a religious goods booth a refreshment booth and last but not least a whlte elephant booth also drew Q 102 many customers To satlsfy the hunger of the festlval goers dnnners were served ln the beautifully decorated school cafe terra The Notre Dame band enhanced the meal with songs for suppertlme Held June T2 I3 and I4 Notre Dames Flrst Sprlng Festival was co sponsored by the Dads Club and the Mothers Gulld to rause money for the bunldung fund 5 Fun, fun and more fun was had by all who partnclpated ln the Sprung Festival Many of the booths were operated by the students themselves as fathers, mothers and sons cooperated to make the Festival a booming success A raffle also was held, again students and parents comblned to sell an unbelnevable number of chances on the pnzes S50 a week for a year, a color televlslon set and a movie protector Through the lolnt efforts of students and parents the Sprung Festival was a 'tremendous' success and brought Notre Dame a step closer to the realnzatlon of tts dreams I 0 0 I 1 0 1 A 1 ' u fat A I ,ff s, x xl!
