The Alumni Association was formed last October with Father Raymond Boulanger as moderator. The Alumni elected John Troia, president, Bill Lawrence, vice-president, Ray Quenne- ville, recording secretary, Jim Ben- nett, corresponding secretary and Joe Flanagan, treasurer. On Homecoming Day, the Alumni attended a Mass and Communion Breakfast and they also had a float in the Homecoming Parade. Among other Alumni activities were an enjoyable Christmas dance, a gala Evening in Paris dance co-sponsored by the Seniors and a pie-throwing booth at the Spring Festival . . . a most successful year, indeed! 2 2 labovel Fighting Irish Alumni still fighting . . . but for the University of Detroit. Through its many activities such as card parties, bake sales, dinners and rummage sales, the Guild raises much needed funds for the school.
