4,S' fm The first Science Fair to be held at Notre Dame took place this spring. Fr. Ellis, Chemistry and Biology teacher, together with his Chemistry Honor Club took the initiative and got things moving. Students from any and all classes of Science and Math got the fever along with the enthusiasm of the club. So on May 4, great numbers viewed the exhibit. N This was a prize-winner at the exhibit-a scale model of the N.D. gym-to-be. left to right: Primeau, Rydell, Carruthers, Boylan, Rochon, and Wysocki. The Conservation Club of Notre Dame is one of the few such clubs in all of the Catholic Schools in Detroit. Mem- bership is large. Activities are varied. The club has sponsored camp-outs, one as large as four days in northern Michigan, archery, fishing, boating- all of the sports for boys who like the great outdoors.
