fifty-two The Mother's Guild is a natural outgrowth of the mother's love for her child. its object is to study the welfare of the child in the Home, School and Commu- nity, to create better understanding between the mothers and teachers and finally to stimulate Adult group responsibility for the benefit of the cultural development of the school. The mothers are to be commended for their fulfillment of this object, for their ready cooperation with the Fathers in any child-teacher problem, for the highly educational meetings which they have conducted, and for the material aid which they have rendered Notre Dame in the past tvvo years.
