However. the Crusaders Covered themselves with glory as they played their hearts out in a breathtaking contest. But sub-par defenses told the story as the Blue and Gold's forward line outplayed the Blue and Whites Fullbaelc Ron Duval gave one of the best exhibitions of running in a long time. as he blasted for three touchdowns on runs of 14. 75. and 96 yards for all the Notre Dame touchdowns.
