The building also incorporates within its walls the latest technical advances in functional and educational archi- tecture with indirect lighting, acoustical ceilings, green glareless boards, and an I.B.M. system of clocks and intercommunication for all the classrooms. Notre Dame had its first Junior Prom on May 30. It was a bright and luminous affair with Stardust as the chosen theme. An electrical display featuring a Storm of Colors in 28 color combinations was de- scribed as the most brilliant electrical effect ever seen.
