BROTHER DENNIS, S.C., B.A. A man needing no introduction, Brother Dennis was the motive force of Notre Dame High School for the first three years. He was vice principal, a member ol the school board, and always an active recruiter both for the school and the community. His seal for the welfare of each and every young Crusader will remain unparalleled in the history of our school. Although a specialized teacher of Latin and foreign languages, he held his own in any other high school subject, whether it be religion, math, speech or dramalics. He has left, as it were, a part of himself here in the Alma Mater Song and in the school emblem, both creations ol his prolific mind. Can we ever forge! such an imposing personality? BROTHER EUGENE, SC.. MA. Piety, a great spirit of faith, and nnllagging devotion to our school beat characterize Brother Eugene. Brother was one of the varlicat ro- cruitera. After having spent a year of apt-uializeil study in Rome, he joined the teaching staff in the fall of '53. Aa vice principal, junior class advisor, and director of the Leaguf- of the Sacred Heart, he exerted a great inlluvm-e over the entire student body. A perfct-liunisl at heart, he found many a way ui he-tte-ring the school organism. An English scholar himself, hr- was able to give to each uf his English sliuherits an immediate preparation for 1-ull:-gn. Brother Eugene was called upon in 1955 tu assunu' the direction of is sevondnry school at St. Colum- ban's, England. He is 1-quul tn the tasks at hand. The Crusade-ra arul the faculty int-mhcrs have lost in him a sonrvt- ul' inspiration and encouragement.
