The quintet, under the leadership ol, Coach lirueclcner proved to be one ot the strongest in years and the leading contender in Howard County. The A. H. S. lwoys opened the season on Noveinlver 27 against a strong Wflaulcon quintet and came home triumphant, 58 to lo. heiiind the eleven point attaclc of Ray Fulclier. Then followed thirteen hard liouglit games and on january 29, the Crusaders motored to Duliuque to participate in the Diocesan Tourna- ment with a record of nine victories and five deleats. The Crusaders won the lirst game from l5anltston 36 to 32.
