ACTUE The centralization of the Catholic high school students in the Ports- mouth area provided a dual setting for the first phase of the school year. The freshmen and sophomores, eager to learn the ins and outs of high school life, overflowed the corridors of Holy Redeemer, while the unforgettable halls and lofty stairs of Saint lVIary's were paced by the seniors and juniors in their pursuit of knowledge. Cen- tralized in name and uniting in fact only occasionally for pep rallies and parties, Notre Dame's first student body enjoyed the combina- tion of hard work and fun and looked forward to midyear, when they would actually he together.
