The maior proiect of the Council has finally been initiated after two years of eager preparation. The long awaited Student Exchange program will be carried on this summer when a member of the present junior class will travel to Latin America to live and stay for some time. Another first for the Council was the Computer Dance held on March l7. Stu- dents tilled out questionnaires which were in turn processed by IBM computers and returned with the numbers of five ideal

The Student Council Exchange Day was also held on March l7. Under the direc- tion of President John Maloney and moderator Sister Mary Jonatha, plans were made for the representatives of the area councils to visit classes at the cor- responding school. This program is ini- tiated each school year in order to pro- mote a deeper communication of ideas among our city's youth.
