Q i 4 ln the past pages we have viewed, along with our friend Diogenes, the students in the light of their academic lives. But a school consists of more than desks, blackboards and teachers. Acti- vities fill the gap and help round out a person's character. These extra-curricular activities help bring out latent talents and develop a sense of responsi- bility and cooperation between students and faculty. Each club extends different advantages to its members but all serve the same dual pur- pose: extending a goal to work for and creating a channel for leisure time. As Diogenes pointed out to us when we first met-a good education is of the utmost import- ance but he also states that it has to be coupled with an active body of organizations to complete a person for the future. 78

The maior proiect of the Council has finally been initiated after two years of eager preparation. The long awaited Student Exchange program will be carried on this summer when a member of the present junior class will travel to Latin America to live and stay for some time. Another first for the Council was the Computer Dance held on March l7. Stu- dents tilled out questionnaires which were in turn processed by IBM computers and returned with the numbers of five ideal
