Freshman class officers, with class moderator Sister Mary Sarto, discuss plans tor their party. Mike VanWert, President, Joe Almon, Treasurer: Ruth Ciccotti, Vice President, Sister Sarto and Kathy Sullivan, Secretary. Talented Trio Mary Anne DeSocio, John Flory, Margaret Grace. FRESHIVIEN Early in September the closs of i970 was initiated into N. D. during the annual Hi-Fi Day and at the Welcome Freshman Dance. For a short time each Frosh was made subiect of the mighty Seniors, who made their superiority quite evident. Christmas songs 'filled the halls as the lowIy Frosh searched in vain for the student lounge and swimming pool. Things were soon back to normal and in Decem- ber the class officers and Student Council members were elected. Under the guidance of Sister Mary Sarto, preparations were made for the Freshman Class Party and other class activities. ln June the Freshmen moved to the realms of the Sophomore class, happy to have another class under them to bear the chiding of the upperclass- men.
