SENIORS And we ring out the old 2jear as we welcome the new. Jubilant seniors, meeting the bright and fresh newness of June, breathe in the 7iew life, the new day dawning. Yesterday was another thing. Yesterday there were troubles, there were workloads a7id days when the sun didn ' t shine. Tomorrow, ah, tomorrow is another day, a new day. Graduation is the dawn. Tomorrow is the day. But stop! Wait a minute. Weren ' t there at least a few stars in yesterday s darkness? And weren ' t there some very sunny days? But seniors don ' t live in the past. They look to each dawn with the prospect of gaining a place in the day ' s sun. They live for tomorrow, leaving yesterday for memories and today for the work and sunshine. 13
