WC, the students of Notre Dame, are proud of the unique accomplishments of the reign of Pope john XXIII. Our Holy Father has answered the need of militant Catholicism throughout the world by expanding the College of Cardinalsg His Holiness has shown wis- dom and foresight in convening the first Ecumenical Council in ninety years in the hope of uniting Christendom. We shall strive to follow the splendid example of optimism and fraternal charity in human relations that has been set for us by Pope John XXIII. 4.
