Yet, we leaned toward the serious side and relished learning . . . We found ourselves as sophomores trudging the long hard road to accom- plishment. It wasnit easy, and many times trials and tribulations confronted our glowing eagerness. Although we roughed it, we achieved much. The junior year was tinged with curi- osity and glowing with excitement. We learned that The Gilded Age had much to offer us as upperclassmen. And now we are prepared to mark twain and set forth on the sea of life. By celestial navigation we expect to find a common port. After varying voyages, we shall recognize the harbor by the bea- con light of Notre Dame, and there safe and secure we shall intone our eternal Credo. :NS '50 . ,llbfwaall new Q at NX ti A N it gf' l I gui ' V wg' , is MO Q., NOC' sv 22 E l MJ' lfu Q 1.
