l-lot Dog' The Korean situation turned our attention to Francis Cardinal Spellman's plea for blood donations. Over one hundred of our students answered the Cardinal's request. Some of the Juniors, noted for their athletic prowess, toppled over in fainting lady fashion after donating their blood. They recovered, how- ever, in time to partake of the refreshments offered by the Red Cross. Town Meeting on the Air was the oc- casion of more fame for the Junior Class. Connie Trimboli participated in a panel dis- cussion of the Korean War. Connie's Monday morning query: l-low do I televise? We should think Connie an old hand at television poise for together with Shirley Mazzotta, and Agnes Short, she made a second appearance on Father Moody's Religion in the Week. The success of the Junior Prom, April in Paris, was due largely to the efforts of chair- man, Maureen Mulligan, and co-chairmen, Barbara Roache and Terry Cangemi. Perhaps its main attraction appeared in the decorative Right Bank as all the Juniors longingly eyed the travel posters spread about Lavelle. The l-lypocritic Days had unobtrusively Slipped away again, it was time to say farewell to the Seniors. We chose Catherine Ogilvie and Shirley Mazzotta, as co-chairmen, and feted the departing Class of '52 at the Park Plaza. lt was a perfect climax though a slightly sad one, to the end of our carefree Clays at Notre Dame for we would return in September as the leaders.
