Fun was the word on Spring Fling Day, as the jaunty Junior Miss sailed around the school with her friends, and joined the student body in all the informal games that she could name. At the close of the day, she made her way to the auditorium for the presentation of scholas- tic and sports awards. Then, after a moment of hushed silence, the officers of the new Student Council were announced. Shouldering the res- ponsibility of maintaining the spirit of Our Lady's School, her class had become the Senior Class of Notre Dame. I '44- il Juniors of the Consumer Living class visit the E. B. Adams Company to ex- amine types of dinnerware, as part ol their instruction in economical and in- telligent purchasing. L. Combs. C. Blunt, D. Gleason, J. Geris, J. Redderson, J. Firestone. National Honor Society pins are a goal worth working for to these junior N.H.S. probationers who have shown leadership in school activities and a good scholastic rating. Aspiring to induction during senior year are N. Campo, A. McMahon, J. Staples, J. Loftus, A. Leone, M. Fahey. and I.. Taylor. A. McMahon casts an approving eye on J. Smart's poster for the Wlinter Ball, as D. Moulton hurries to complete her own assignment.
