Anyone in doubt about the point should consult the Notre Dante debaters - they know all the angles. The opening bell of the school year welcomed new debaters to the organiza- tion, and found veterans of previous de- bating victories beginning their tryst with a new topic for the season. On holidays and week-ends, before and alt- er school hours, budding orators gather- ed in the teachers' rooni to practice speeches, to look for forceful entphatic words, and to dust off that special shelf for the trophy of their dreams. The 1954-'55 season ended in victory for both senior and junior debaters, with not one, but two, trophies, proof positive that those long practice sessions were successful.
