.V. CHEERLEADERS- SUMETHING NEW AT NCTRE DAME The Junior Varsity cheerleaders, a squad of four, is new to Notre Dame Academy this year. Members of the squad include Alicia Cenzano fhead cheerleaderj, Damyta Jones, Sharon Jordan, and Patty Tapanes. They have a lot of spirit when cheering for the junior varsity teams at every game and tournament. The squad also provides cheers for student assemblies occasionally. Members of the squad practiced all summer, and still practice during the school year at least once a week. The junior varsity teams and the Pep Club appreciate their enthusiasm and support. FLAG TEAM PEREORMAN CES ADD THAT SPECIAL ACCENT This year's flag team is a new experience at Notre Dame, with their new uniforms and new routines. Members ofthe squad include Gina Scira, Kathy Petersen, Maureen McCullough, and Jenny Tabor. The team has noticeably improved under the direction of Patty Poduska, the baton twirler.
