RGYALE STAFF MAKES IT HAPPEN! Meeting deadlines of all types is what the Royale Staff is all about. Basically, the objective of this club is to produce a yearbook for Notre Dame Academy. Staff members may be found almost any day after school working in 306. Special appreciation goes to Mr. and Mrs. John Finnegan, who direct and supervise the photographers, and Mr. Hap Zavack, representative of .losten's American Yearbook Company. This year's staff has been guided by a new adviser, Sister Mary Llisa. According to Katie Parr and Cathy Dix, the following is an outline of the don't's emphasized by Sister Mary Llisa. Mortal Sins . . . 1. Putting a horizontal picture in a vertical space. 2. Having an even number of bleeds. 3. Using a ball point pen to designate picture position on the back of the picture. 4. Blowing up teensy-weensy pictures. 5. Cropping with a lead pencil. 6. Stacking freshly stamped pictures on top of each other. Venial Sins. . . l. Bleeding into the gutter on the wrong side of the page. 2. Voting for the University of Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl. 3. Redoing someone else's mess, and making it worse. 4. Making boo-boo's on 3-R layouts. 5. Boxing captions on final layouts. If found guilty of any of the above, the sinner,' is accosted by appropiate salutations from the adviser.
