C.S.E., RED CROSS AND ART CLUB MAKE IT HAPPEN Since Notre Dame has something to offer for everyone's special interests, three special organizations provide various activities. Membership in the California Scholarship Federation is offered only to those students who demonstrate their acaemic ability and perseverance by maintain- ing a grade point average that is above-average. During the year, the C.S.F., under the leadership of President Michelle Capdeville, sponsored the College Night and the Cram Week during the week before the exams in January. The C.S.F. is moderated by Sister Mary La Tier. Giving service to others is the special purpose ofthe Red Cross, which is headed by its president, Patty Erb. The Red Cross participated in a dance with blind children during the Christmas season, and assisted with mnay ofthe duties connected with the bloodmobile held at Notre Dame in March. A new extra-curricular activity is the Art Club, which provides activities such as learning sessions to any student who has a special interest in art. The president ofthe Art Club is Lisa Babilonia, and the moderator is Sister Mary St. Ann. , K. z Essay, ly This page is sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shalhoub and Family.
