THE PLAYS THE THING! There is always something happening with Notre Damels Drama Club. This year, they entertained family, students and friends on three special occasions: the Christmas play, the class plays, and a musical, The Fantasticksn. Under the direction of Sister Mary Ste. Therese, the club works diligently to produce plays that entertain and inspireg it gives N.D. students a chance to express themselves on stage. This year, two freshmen, Gabi Tabori and Elizabeth Orue, represented Notre Dame in thejunior high division ofthe fall drama festi- val sponsored by the Drama Teacher's Associ- ation of Southern California. Both girls reached the finals in the categories of individ- ual pantomime and individual serious intre- pretation. This means that out of the nearly l,00O students from Southern California who competed, Gabi and Elizabeth ranked in the top five in their areas. 2.
