She may be found trying to organize them each day, usually with the assistance of Eliana Troncoso, S.A.C. Secretary, and Laurence Retourne. 2. Anotherjob of the student government is to see that the American and California flags are properly cared for. This picture shows Laur- ence Retourne and Kelli Horne assisting. 3. For Thanksgiving, the Student Council sponsored a special Mass, said by Father Al Burnham of St. .loan of Arc Parish. In this picture, Traci Tolman and Maureen Scheib are presenting the gifts at the Offertory. ln addition, the students brought food for the poor, which was offered at the Mass in thanks- giving for all of God's blessings, 4. Each month, the large bulletin board in the second floor hall is tastefully decorated with a calendar to remind the faculty and students of all of the big and little events which occur that month. At this point. sophomore homeroom lO9 seems to be clearly' in the lead vtith more than X095 of their quota donated. 2. Members of the Mission Club include Becky' lsomoto. Nancy' Lem. Libia Becerra. Britta Steinbrenner, Tami Pistoni, Erin Mur- phy, .lackie Otero and lnez Rodriguez: Anita Moss. Linda Westermeyer, Karen Sadowski, Tita llug, Rhonda Holbert, Sharon Jordon, Katie Parr, Ria Koukos. Mary Wensley, and Sharon Scranage. 3. Refreshments at College Night were pro- vided by the Mission Club, and donations were gladly accepted. Serving the punch are Christine Heyninek. Patty' Tapanes, Jenny Tabor and Britta Steinbrenner. 4. The Mission Club assisted the Student Council in sponsoring the canned l'ood drive at Thanskgiving. the food being donated to poor families in the Los Angeles area, Shown car- rying some of the goodies are Anita Moss and Marcia Daley.
