Sodality -- 3,4, Prefect - 4, Athletic Club-1,2,3,4, Senior class play- committee, Junior Council on World Affairs, Future Nurses Club-4. Future: Nurse CONSTANCE EVE ZYSKOWSKI St. Teresa She shuns insincerity with her un- swerving loyalty. Third Honors- 1,3, Athletic Club - 1,2,3,4, Future Nurses Club -3,4, Sales Tax Representative -4, Glee Club -- 1. Future: Physical Therapist en ior emorieri September 12, 1954, saw 133 scared freshies looking for classrooms, books, and teachers . . . Big Sisters hurried to the rescue, especially at the Big and Little Sister Party with its impressive candle-lighting ceremony . . . we became full- fledged freshies after the Athletic Club initiation . . . our first trip to Greenfield Village was fun . . . winter turned into spring and we attended our first date dance, Kademy Kapers . . . then came a wonderful experience-our first retreat . . . we first sported our class colors at the basket- ball tournament . . . the green and gold cheered us on to victory . . . then dawned our first Notre Dame Day . . . and then the end of the first page in our scrapbook of high school memories. In 1955, NDA welcomed 126 sophomoric sophomores . . . our first maior proiect was a playlet, Around the Clock with Claire, which we presented at an assembly and also at a tea for our mothers . . . Christmas vacation . . . then the practice sessions for the operetta, Snow White, . . . another retreat . . . another basket- ball tournament . . . St. Francis de Sales was built and we exchanged severa-l dances with the Knights . . . our best dance was Blue Nocturne . . . another Honor Day . . . Notre Dame Day found us reviewing dances through the years . . . the Charleston proved funniest . . . all too soon our wise-fool year came to a close with many budding friendships. Upperclassmen! What an honor! . . . again, our first maior proiect was an assembly--this time for Advent . . . our sodality had a Hallo- ween party and a roller-skating party . . . our first iunior-senior dance was Heavenly Daze . . . another retreat . . . another tournament flost againl . . . exams . . . Honor Day . . . and the year's two brightest highlights-the iunior- senior banquet in which we took a Trip to Tu-loo and our first prom, Spring Fantasy, at the Secor Hotel . . . another Notre D-ame Day and the close of a wonderful year. ln September 1957, 109 proud seniors came to Notre Dame to begin their last year of high school . . . our trip to New York and Washington was too wonderful for words-six sleepless nights and fun-filled days . . . our dance, Deep Purple, sparked our November calendar . . . our play, The Desk Set, was a challenge to our dramatic ability . . . eagerly we awaited our ring ceremony-one of the most memorable events of our four years at Notre Dame . . . our last basketball tourney proved to be e-xciting and heartbreaking . . . this time the iunior-senior banque-t was in our honor, the food was wonderful, surpassed only by the beautiful dec- orations . . . May 2 and the Secor Ballroom set the scene for our prom, it was more special than ever . . . much too soon came the long-awaited day-Graduation . . . the Bishop presented our diplomas . . . somewhat tearfully we sang for the last time as a class: We'll never forget thee, loved Mother, loved Notre Dame!
