EDITORIAL 1960 . . . the year of promise. In an apparition to three small children in 1913, Our Lady promised that peace would reign through prayer and sacrifice. Has the promise been kept? Perhaps we should ask ourselves, Have we fulfilled the terms? Giant strides in nuclear warfare have been welcomed by an insecure world. But is this a step towards true peace? Is this what Our Lady meant? One of the children who saw Our Lady in 1913 - Lucy - is still alive today. She has written a letter to be opened in 1960, in which is revealed a further message from Our Lady of Fatima. As we present our 1960 Nodaac, then, we pray that all of us may realize the true meaning of peace, the peace of Our Lady of Fatima. LYNDA MURPHY Editor
