-Recognition We, the Seniors of Norwood-Norfolk Central School, are happy to recognize, in this our commence- ment year- -Mrs. Bernice Dullea. After graduating from Potsdam State Teachers College, Mrs. Dullea started her teaching career in 1923. She taught on Long Island for several years and then devoted her time to raising a family of two daughters. After her children entered school she again began teaching in the Potsdam area and spent ten years teaching in rural schools. In 1945 she began teaching in the primary area in Norwood. After five years of successful teaching she was chosen to be the first Elementary Supervisor in the newly-formed Norwood-Norfolk Central School System. In this position shehas become well-known and highly respected by both pupils and teachers, Many of us know her as a teacher and supervisor vitally interested in the education of the children in our schools. She is close to those people with whom she works and is ever alert to improved methods and higher standards of achievement. We recognize Mrs, Dullea as a dynamic force in gaining for the elementary area a high rating of achievement, and we hope that she remains with us for many years to come.

She was an eager participant in school activities fand was well thought of by all her class- mates.
