Recently my attention was drawn to two adA vertisements carried in a leading industrial publi- cation. The first was a welcome to industry to locate in a certain state and referred to it as The Land of Opportunity. The second was afslogan used by a large industrial firm which stated, Pro- gress is our most important product. I believe you, our graduates, might apply these few very important words to yourselves as you end your high school days. You have made progress on the way to greater opportunity, but you have iust nicely started. Progress should be continuous in your lives because by it, in what- ever area or areas you may choose, opportunity unlimited is yours. Study, work, and make the most of your resources, and I am sure that your lives will be rich and gratifying. I congratulate the class of 'I958 on your suc- cessful completion of high school. R. W. HANN MR. RICHARD W. HANN Seniors of 1958, upon graduation you will find that training institutions, colleges and employers are a great deal more selective than they were in previous years. It will be necessary for you to be much more alert, aggressive and ambitious than graduates of the last few years. The vacancies will go to those of you who will step forward and take responsibility. Best wishes and congratulations to the class of 1958. J. W. KELLY 8 MR. FRANCIS W. KELLY I I I I I , I I I I I I I I I
