U 1,29 Qs Q in iilcmoriam Q 0 The Class of 1954 wishes to pay sincere and heartfelt tribute to two Norwood-Norfolk graduates, Pfc. Donald Gately, Class of '49, and Cpl. Robert Cutler, Class of '50. It is difficult to express how we feel about these boys whose lives were sacrificed for us and for their country. Because we realize fully the inadequacy of anything we might say of Donald Gately and Robert Cutler, we say of them only, Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine. Cpl. Robert Cutler Cpl. Robert Cutler was born on October 24, 1933. He attended school in Norwood, where he participated in athletics for four years and was a member of the senior play cast in his last year, He was graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School in June, 1950. Cutler joined the army on July 5, 1950 and went to Fort Dix, New Jersey, for his basic train- ing. Later he took a twelve weeks' engineering course at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, before being shipped to Fort Lawvton, Washington and thence to Korea, On May 18, 1951, Cutler was declared missing in action and on December 31, 1953 he was de- clared dead.
