lt has been many years since a graduating class has been able to face a future that appears as bright and filled with opportunity as the one that our graduates face at present. You, the graduates of 1954, are members of a vast group of young people who have taken the opportunity to better prepare yourselves for the future by completing your secon- dary education. You have had the many opportunities and ad- vantages of a new building, new courses, and an enriched program. Larger graduating classes of better prepared students give evidence of the adaptability of the program to the needs and abilities of the students. We are proud to be a part of an educational system that constantly strives to meet the needs of our community. Graduates of Norwood-Norfolk Central School may take much pride and satisfaction of accomplishment in. having suc- cessfully completed twelve years of schooling. l hope that many of you will avail yourselves of the opportunities that higher education offers. l am happy to have this opportunity to congratulate the members of the Class of 1954. RICHARD W. HANN, Supervising Principal Senior Class of 1954, you have great opportunities before you. You have available to you the facilities of many institu- tions for further training, if that is what you desire. If your interest is such that you should seek employment, that also should be available in this area with its expected de- velopments. Congratulations, Class of 1954, and may you make the most of your individual opportunities. FRANCIS W. KELLY, Vice Principal 12
