RELLEVA LEADS LAUGH- A- THON Mr. Wayne Relleva led a group of thirty students in an 82 hour. 52 minute Laugh-A-Thon for the benefit of the American Chemical Society. The students enjoyed such flicks as The Dino Fiore Comedy and Physics Hour. Always a laugh a minute. Mr. Fiore kept the students in stitches with his now famous. Gravitational effects on a 6g mass falling at 9.8 m sec- . ' Also Relleva (cont. p. 348) OSTBERG HIDES PAST Mrs. Ostberg. shown in police file photo, was not always a physical education teacher at Norwood High. Previous to this, she was said to have been involved in the Attendance Card Racket. It is believed that Ostberg would take the attendance cards and sell them on the black mar- ket for enormous prices to students who otherwise would have percented out of gym. Ostberg denies involvement but could not explain 6300 attendance cards found (cont. p. 308) STATON MESMERIZES Mrs. Delores Staton. Chairman of the Foreign Language Dept., mesmerized senior Rita Caulfield during a recent French lecture. Caufield was rushed to the intensive care unit of Medfield State Hospital where she claimed she had. just fallen asleep with my eyes open. Staton denied using hypnosis on her students to give the effect they are interested in her lectures. Staton has no past history of such behavior but (cont. p. 324) 21
