BASKETBALL The Norwood High basketball feam had a fine season in 72- 73. Coach Ken Nolet ' s hoopsters finished with an 11-7 record, only two games behind the first place club in the Bay State League. Twc losses at the end of the season kept the Mustangs out of the State tournament. Nine seniors were on the 72- 73 Mustang squad. Co-captain guards, Mark Hersey and Brian Brown, and all star forward Jack Glynn, all seniors, started every game and played a big part in the Mustang ' s drive for the title. First player off the bench for Coach Nolet was senior forward, Steve Brennan. Other seniors on the team were Roger MacLeod, Bob DePietro, John White, John Gillis, and Jim Nolan. Junior Jim Crook and sopho- more Tim Collins were starters this past season. Jim Crook, cap- tain of the 73-74 squad, and Tim Collins, sophomore of the year in the BSL, should form a great nucleus for next season ' s club.
