SENIOR YEAR (Continued) stars were: Gerald McNeil, Harriet Gul- lich, Donald McComb, Irene Falconer, Donald Tanneyhill, Irene Ostrom and Pa- tricia McCready, John Schuller and Milton Towne. As the year drew to a close, we plunged ourselves into the task of planning our Senior Prom. Our hours of toil were re- warded, for we will alway remember with nostalgia the beautiful music, lovely deco- rations and the genuine fun that marked the outstanding social event of the year. We cannot write a history of our class without including a note of thanks to Mr. Hayden, our patient and firm guide, to Miss Coughlin, our chief senior adviser, and to all the teachers who have contrib- uted to our enlightenment and enjoyment during our three years at the School on the Hill. A special word of congratulation goes to all our yearbook editors: Richard Saunders and Marlene Johnston, editors-in-chief; Mary Yelapi and Edmund Wenstrom, ad- vertising managers; Anne Thompson and Milton Towne, circulation editors; Alice Byrne and Richard Hohmann, our art editors; and to Mrs. Riley, their adviser. We also feel that Gerald McNeil deserves a special word of commendation for his outstanding job as president of the Student Council, and Miss Hubbard for her work as adviser. Now, after three years of living and learning at Norwood High, we have only a few days left in our belov ed School on the Hill. We await our forthcoming grad- uation with the pleasantest of memories, the sweet sorrow of leaving our alma mater, and the confidence to face the future. M.M. ' 54 OUR THREE GOOD-LOOKING BIG-WIGS Fruci, Setiior President; McNeil, Student Council President; Saunders, Yearbook Editor. [25]
