ball with the whole team making superhuman baskets. Captain Cushman, Maduskuie, Flood, Sameski, Meears and White upheld the Senior banner gallantly. Our nice Senior icemen, two of whom made All-Star team, Donny Glaser and Stan Babinski, turned night into day (and occa- sionally vice versa) in their zeal to improve their technique. WHDH came to N.H.S. when Bob Clayton arrived at the school as our guest to conduct our song poll. Palma ' s reaction to Stardust caused much comment. Tears, no less. Go West, young man, became the slogan of the day when the Norwood High gym turned into a dude ranch and Meet Arizona was presented as the annual spring operetta. Strains of western music must be still echoing around the hill. The gala Senior Prom was a dream come true but presaged all too vividly that our high school days were approaching La Fin. Soon we were beginning practice for our Com- mencement and learning to march without putting out someone ' s eye with our mortar boards. Banquet loomed ahead and then the day which we had alternately longed for and dreaded - Graduation! Some of us will go on to higher learning but for more, this signifies No more school days, no more books, no more teachers ' cross-eyed looks. For all of us the future seems uncertain but we shall try to face our destiny bravely with the hope that in this troubled world we shall, with the preparation which our teachers have worked so hard to give us, be equipped to fulfill our obligations and be worthy of the trust that is ours. j.E.E. HEAP BIG CHIEFS L. White (Tiot Editor), T. Bartucca (Class President), S. Babinski (Student Council President) 2
