DEDICATION With due honor and respect, we, the class of ' 49, take great pride and affection in dedicating this year book to our parents, whose patient understanding and constant guidance have helped us in weaving the golden thread of life through the shining days of our high school careers. They have made their lives an untiring quest, seeking all that is fine and good for us, sharing our successes and failures, en- couraging us in our efforts, consistently keeping their faith in us. However concealed our appreciation may have been, we are not oblivious to their inexhaustible and unselfish endeavors. In this successful achieving of our first major milestone on the golden road to knowledge, we realize that we are not alone but are joined by our beloved mothers and fathers.
