Twelve Lower students were elected to membership, forming the first active Norwood chapter. The group aims to promote projects in the school upholding the four cardinal principals of the society, leadership, character, service, and scholarship, such as award- ing of banners to ninth grade homerooms with the highest scholarship average. Members are selected by the faculty from the upper fifteen 18 oburri , I, O'Eriou, I. Frankcnbergcr, P. Gaible, S. Gravcn- , Rgbort Fiaasa, per cent of the class scholastical- ly, acting on a student poll. A de- cisive factor in selection is lead- ership, service, and character.
