This year, as years before, the faculty of your school has had the opportunity to see each of you boys and girls in many varied school situations. Your teachers know that some students are able to get the greatestbenefit from different learning situations, while others seem to shut their eyes and ears as well as their minds to become as inanimate as the proverbial, Bump on a log. The end result of conduct of this type on the boys and girls literally tear the hearts out of their teachers. So it is with the greatest sincerity that I, as principal of your school, hope that you will have used this school year in the way that will bring you the greatest of happiness in your years and life to come.
