THE BLAZER- HEADLIGHTS OF ’51 In eighteen - hundred - and - fifty - one American railroad just begun. In nineteen - hundred - and - fifty one Seniors of Norwood have just begun. To enter College, to shoulder arms, To establish homes, to plow their farms To train for jobs, to seek the good, And help to build the best Norwood. Foreword We Seniors of Norwood liken ourselves to a modern train with headlights blazing and the crew in control as we speed on toward our de- stination— the realization of our fondest hopes and dreams. These wheels of progress incite us to blaze new trails to new adventures. We classmates have been riding together for twelve long years, and now, in 1951, the end of the line has come for us as a Senior Clas s. May this yearbook recall vivid experi- ences of our journey together and preserve for each of us a TRAIN of HAPPY MEMORIES. DEDICATION We, the Blazer Staff of 1951, proudly dedicate this yearbook to Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Grady, Short and Joan, our beloved principal’s family.
