Robert D'Alesandro h 7'f- 1. ygywilgilif Board, Administration Consolidate Efforts At the annual reorganizational meeting of the Norwin School Board held last December. How- ard A. Leukhardt was elected Board President and Joanne M. Cole was elected Vice-President. Newly elected board members Rochelle H. Belak and Floyd R. Warren were also seated. To fur- ther communication within the community. Network, a newslet- ter issued to all residents, was adopted and circulated. Norwin School District received notice that Norwin was listed as a regis- tered district under Long Range guidelines. Mr. Terbot and Dr. Leukhardt are co-chairing the next Long Range Plan for the dis- trict. Many district residents have volunteered their services and are serving on various com- mittees. Three Act 80 days were held last fall for Norwin's profes- sional staff. Due to the effort and planning of Mr. Lauffer and Dr. Leukhardt, these days provided staff members with an opportuni- ty to evaluate and improve teach- ing skills, and to become better informed about current educa- tional problems. My personal congratulations to the Class of l986 for achieving a milestone - that is, your graduation from Norwin High School. As I said when you were sophomores, Norwin Senior High School has an excellent professional staff, a demand- ing curriculum, and an outstanding facility. I hope that you have taken advantage of all that we offered, have worked to the best of your ability, and have received as much from Norwin as possible. r As principal, I have lived with you for three years, and it has been a very pleasant and enjoyable three years. I hope you leave with as many fond memories of Norwin as I have of the Class of l986. Keep up the good work. ln 20 to 30 years from now you will be the leaders in our community and in our nation, and when you reach your pinnacle of success, always remem- ber that you graduated from Norwin Senior High School.
