The depart- ment was previously in the Manual Training Building. The Commercial is the newest building on campus. lts tower has two clocks, one facing Chelsea Parade and Joseph Perkins Road. The sight of the clocks has made us hasten our steps many a morning. Even during the four-year span of our class, the Commercial has undergone many changes. Some of the lockers and the cafe- teria, where so many of us gathered to eat, have been removed. In their places are modern classrooms. The new rooms have helped greatly to alleviate the shortage of them. Another change is the taking over of the basement floor by the Juniors, com- ing each year in ever-increasing numbers. The first floor of the Commercial Build- ing contains the Commercial Office and classrooms. Oh, how we labored over those English and German assignments on that floor. The familiar clatter of typewriters greets the person entering the top floor corridor. I : i 'l 1 ,Q if .5 e L 3 f 'K .' vs - W . -'E 4 I 8, -xr if ., ay: gxw . ' 9' I fit' N f Q Q ..
