Under the leadership of the experienced Coach Osgood and the veteran seniors. the team built a reputation as a hard working. close knit organization. Led by strong captains. Pam Manning, Valerie Mattie. and Marcia Livingston, the girls created a winning atmosphere wht-. h was obvious during the second half of the season. Goalie Ginnie Swat --'- -t had a record high of I38 saves and five shut-outs. Pam Manning was t-lm . l to the All-Star Team along with the two other captains elected as hom: - M mentions. Also, Valerie Mattie was the only member of the squad to plat --wry minute of every game this past season. Coach Frado is looking towattl another fine season next year with much of the team ' returning to carry on the Clipper field hockey dynasty.
