The 1982 Boys' Tennis Team had a 7-9 record. A surprise feature of the team was freshman Bruce Worthen Whose dominating play made him the number one singles player. Bob Whitcomb became a vital doubles player, combining for points with Mark O'Connor and Peter Smith in competition. The good season was achieved mainly with the help of seniors Frank Chicko, Jimmy Daly, Billy Schneider, and Sean Quigley.
